Notice কী?
Notice শব্দের অর্থ বিজ্ঞপ্তি বা বিবৃতি। নোটিশ হল এক ধরনের লিখিত (Written) বা মৌখিক (Oral) বিবৃতি যাতে কোন সভা আয়োজন করার বিবরণ থাকে। একটি সভায় উপস্থিত হওয়ার জন্য সভার সদস্য কিংবা অতিথিদের মধ্যে যখন একটি বিবৃতি পরিবেশন করা হয়, তখন তাকে নোটিশ বলা হয়। সাধারণত একটি নোটিশ দ্বারা সভার সদস্য কিংবা অতিথিদের সভায় যোগদানের অনুরোধ বা আদেশ করা হয়। একটি নোটিশে সভার সময়, স্থান, তারিখ এবং উদ্দেশ্য এবং অন্যান্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্যগুলো অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকতে পারে।
একটি পূর্ণাঙ্গ Notice কয়েকটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশে বিভক্ত থাকে। যেমন Title, Body, Ending ইত্যাদি। মূলত এসব অংশের সমন্বয়ে একটি Notice লেখা হয়। নিচে একটি পূর্ণাঙ্গ Notice লেখার অংশগুলো বর্ণনা করা হল।
১. প্রতিষ্ঠানের নাম: একটি Notice শুরু হয় প্রতিষ্ঠানের নাম দিয়ে। এটি কোন বিদ্যালয় বা কলেজ হতে পারে। আবার কোন সংগঠন বা সংস্থাও হতে পারে। যে ধরনের প্রতিষ্ঠানই হোক না কেন, Notice লেখার পূর্বে উক্ত প্রতিষ্ঠানের নামটি উল্লেখ করতে হবে।
২. Notice: প্রতিষ্ঠানের নাম লেখার পরে কাগজের মাঝ বরাবর Notice শব্দটি লিখতে হবে। চাইলে Notice শব্দটি সম্পূর্ণ Capital letter (বড় অক্ষর) এ লেখা যেতে পারে। আবার Notice শব্দটিকে Underline (আন্ডারলাইন) করাও যেতে পারে।
৩. তারিখ: Notice টি কবে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে, তারিখ অংশে সেটি উল্লেখ করতে হবে। অর্থাৎ যে তারিখে Notice টি সকলকে জানানো হবে, সেই তারিখটি এখানে লিখতে হবে।
৪. শিরোনাম (Title): Title হচ্ছে একটি Notice এর অন্যতম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ। যাদের Notice প্রদান করা হচ্ছে, Title দিয়েই তাদের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করা হয়ে থাকে। Title অংশে কোন বিষয়ের ওপর Notice প্রদান করা হচ্ছে, (যেমন সভার আয়োজন) তা উল্লেখ করতে হবে। মনে রাখতে হবে, Title টি যেন যথাসম্ভব ছোট, মার্জিত এবং অর্থবোধক হয়।
৫. Body (মূল অংশ): Body তে Notice এর বিষয়বস্তু বর্ণনা করা হয়ে থাকে। অর্থাৎ Notice টি কি কারণে দেওয়া হচ্ছে এ সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত লেখা থাকে এই Body অংশে। একটি Notice এর বিষয়বস্তু বর্ণনার ক্ষেত্রে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কিছু ধাপ অনুসরণ করতে হয়। যেমন:
What: কী ঘটবে?
When: কখন ঘটবে?
Where: কোথায় ঘটবে?
Others: উল্লেখযোগ্য অন্যান্য বিষয় (যদি থাকে)
৬. স্বাক্ষর: Notice এর বিষয়বস্তু লেখা হয়ে গেলে Notice প্রদানকারী স্বাক্ষর করবে। একই সাথে তিনি তার প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক পদ স্বাক্ষরের নিচে উল্লেখ করবেন। যেমন- স্কুলের প্রধান শিক্ষক যদি Notice লিখে থাকেন, তাহলে তিনি স্বাক্ষরের নিচে প্রধান শিক্ষক কথাটি উল্লেখ করবেন।
শিক্ষার্থীরা, উপরে উল্লেখিত অংশগুলোর সমন্বয়ে একটি পূর্ণাঙ্গ Notice লেখা হয়ে থাকে। উল্লেখিত অংশই একটি Notice লেখার জন্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। তাই Notice লেখার সময় কোন আলোচিত কোন অংশ বাদ দেওয়া যাবে না।
Notice লেখার সময় মনে রাখবে
একটি আদর্শ Notice সাধারণত ৫০-৭০ শব্দের মধ্যে হয়ে থাকে। সুতরাং যতটা সম্ভব সংক্ষিপ্ত আকারে লিখতে হবে।
এটি যোগাযোগের একটি প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক মাধ্যম। তাই Notice এ ব্যবহৃত ভাষাও প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক হওয়া উচিত। এখানে কাব্যময় ভাষার প্রয়োগ পরিহার করতে হবে।
বাক্যগুলো ছোট ছোট করে লিখতে হবে এবং সহজ শব্দ ব্যবহার করতে হবে। যাতে করে লেখার উদ্দেশ্য সবার জন্য বোধগম্য হয়।
যথা সম্ভব প্যাসিভ ভয়েস (Passive voice) ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
একটি বাক্সে সুন্দরভাবে Notice টি উপস্থাপন করবে। যাতে এটি দেখতে দৃষ্টিনন্দন হয়।

Notice is hereby given that the 100th birthday ceremony of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be celebrated in our school on 17th March, 2022 at 10 AM at the school hall room. Bangabandhu’s biography, sacrifice for the country and his role in building an independent Bangladesh will be discussed in this function . All teachers and students are requested to participate the event.
Note: It is necessary to wear a mask and follow the hygiene rules in that ceremony.

The various sections of the Amader Katha for this year include short-stories, science fiction, folk-tales, real-life experience. poetry, sketches and cartoons. The maximum word-limit for a prose piece is 800 words.
All those interested in contributing in any of the sections are requested to submit their entries to the undersigned latest by 1 September, 2022.
